Journey of A Dress
"Clothes could have more meaning and longevity if we think less about owning the latest or cheapest thing and develop more of a relationship with the things we wear."
― Elizabeth L. Cline
Our commitment to a slow, production process starts from the very beginning. Form inspiration to design, we look to nature as our guide while always keeping in mind what techniques we can incorporate to remain as sustainable as we can be. We think about what sustainable fabrics to use and what ethical vendors to source from, the silhouettes that would allow us to minimize fabric waste, as well as considering what herbal dyes to use (the non-toxic alternative to chemical dyes) and what embroidery techniques would use minimal energy and electricity.
Here, we show you how The Byron dress came into creation.
This is its journey.
